We opened the doors of our new shop in the Forum for the first time on Friday 1st December following our move from Norwich Market.
Here’s a brief summary of the of our week setting the shop up and a big thanks to the army of volunteers who helped us:
Monday 27th November: “Move Day”
Tuesday 28th November: “Build Day”
Wednesday 29th November: “Stock Day”
Thursday 30th November: “Training Day”
Friday 1st December: Open
We are very grateful to the Community Sports Foundation (CSF) team, including ex-canary Adam Drury for their fantastic support. They moved our stock and fixtures/fittings from storage to the shop unit…in the pouring rain!
Students from Norwich University of the Arts were given the challenge to design a suitable image for the front windows in a few hours and CIM Design took the design and had it installed in time for our opening on Friday.
Tuesday was spent building flatpacks, mostly without instructions, and installing gridwall. Once again we’re grateful to the CSF team and to our volunteers Billy & Colin.
