We first opened our "Pop-up" stall on Norwich Market in February 2019 with the intention of selling of some of Jacob's personal collection to raise money for the Community Sports Foundation (CSF).
We were overwhelmed by the response and genorsity of Norwich Fans who throughout 2019 donated hundreds of items to us and helped us raise over £8000 for the CSF.
In January 2020 we were given the opportunity to rent a stall on a permanent basis on Norwich Market. We had the papers ready to sign and the stall ready to refit... then the pandemic hit.
Why an online shop?
One of the great benefits of running a stall in the market is the chance to meet fellow fans and chat about football. Jacob has really enjoyed meeting some really great people and we have heard some wonderful stories and have shared some great times.
However it has become apparent that trading on the market will not return to normal for some time to come. Also many of our customers will not be able to travel to the stall until things return to normal.
So, we have spent our lockdown time building an online store - we hope you like it.
What are we selling online?
Norwich City FC have been incredibly supportive and we have recently purchased a large quantity of Official Norwich City merchandise from them.
Most of the items on sale here have been sourced from the club shop, Colney training ground or the Academy.
Many items are new, some have been previously worn by players, staff or academy scholars.
We also have a small range of merchandise carrying the "On The Stall City" brand.
A few of the items acquired from the Canary Store are even in their original packaging. However the majority of items, including items from Colney and the Academy have been repackaged with love by the OTSC team.
New items will be added to the online shop in the near future.... So watch this space!
Where will the money go?
All profits from this online shop will be donated to the Community Sports Foundation who do such great work in the County to support the community.
No one at "On the Stall City" will take a salary or any form of remuneration. We are volunteers and give our time freely. There are some costs involved in running "On the Stall City" but at present these have been met by our sponsor company, ABC Food Law.
City legend Darren Huckerby visits our stall and donates signed copies of his book
